I have to tell somebody this that last year I lost all six matches and this year I have not lost one yet; 2 practice and 3 real matches. I know a lot of it is simply being in better shape and a better swing because of my workouts. The biggest thing I am learning is that I now have better control of my body, at least that is how Randy explains it. I can feel the swing and the direction positions, weight transfer, etc. when I could never before. "Before my first visit to Body Balance for Performance®, my game was horribly inconsistent. To add to the frustration, I experienced a great deal of pain in my back, shoulders, and arms with each swing. The more my upper body hurt - the higher my score. I was nearly ready to give up golf altogether when my pro suggested I contact Body Balance. After my second session, I could see and feel a difference in my game and the pain was immediately dramatically reduced. Etta [my Golf Fitness Specialist] recognized that my hip rotation wasn't sufficient to execute a swing and my shoulders needed a lot of improvement. She developed an exercise and training program for me that could easily be done anywhere and fits nicely into my work travel schedule. Last week, I had my first golf lesson since starting the Complete Golf Health and Fitness training program. My pro was very pleased with my progress, especially noting that my back swing was fluid and much improved. Thank you. I appreciate this very much. Thought I would be awful today after you beat me up yesterday...but I played the old course at Stonewall in a Member-Guest and hit it great. I hit the green or fringe on the first nine holes I played! Wasn't quite so pure on the second nine...but good enough to shoot 75 and lead my team to First Gross! Just think how good I can be when I develop my core! After that, all i have to do is figure out how to make those 3 foot putts! Scott Yard |
